How much did you pay for the installation of the leveling kit and tires/wheels? Mine are coming next week and I need to find a mechanic. Thanks

I believe all shop costs for installation of lift kit tire balance alignment and also switching out all the sensors from old wheels to new was around $750

This past weekend we had the pleasure of taking it out to Uwharrie National Forrest for it's first adventure. The stock shocks leave a lot to be desired at higher speeds (though we're spoiled), so we will greatly look forward to a shock upgrade in the near future. We just installed the window panels, SS5 crosslink, and SS6 fog kit yesterday. All lights will be wired to the new Diode Dynamics D-Switch system, which we are working on installing now.

Overall, we absolutely love the new 4Runner. Nothing is perfect, but the 6th gen was a much needed refresh, especially in the technology department. The infotainment works great (so far), front camera is helpful when off-roading, the driver assist features work well (so far), and it's actually kinda fun to drive in sport mode. Only major complaint is price. Ouch.

I recently got my ORP and installed a Peak collar lift. It gave 2.25" in the front and I chose the 2" collar in the rear. I put some 17x8.5 +18mm offset KMC 722 wheels on it with 285/75/17 BFG KO3 tires on it.

Originally I had Method 706 wheels that were discontinued and heavily discounted from Discount Tire. Turns out I got the super rare version that was made for Land Cruisers and has no center caps. They looked silly and Method Wheels didn't disclose it. It took several emails back and fourth with them for them to even realize I had this particular product code with no center caps.

So far so good. Haven't off roaded yet but will soon.

Just got my TRD Bronze Wheels (+4 offset) to go with my Everest sweetheart.

Running 285/70R17 Toyo AT3 tires. They do rub up against a portion of the inner mudguards so you gotta sand em down a little bit or wait till it wears itself down.

Hub rings / hubcentric rings used are these.

Contemplating the same wheels for my (someday incoming) ORP Underground (either in bronze like you, or the black ones).

Do you have by any chance pictures from the front of your rig ? Would love to see how much they stick out (a before/after would be amazing).

Kinda curious why they would rub, because you seemed to have the same wheels (and tires) as the ORP (might be one, color is throwing me off, but it might be because yours is a hybrid one ?) so by switching from a +55 to a +4 offset, wheels should be pushed out quite a bit.
(Should extend an extra 45mm according to the following website)

Also, the overall tire size being quite similar, I had assumed that the extra inner clearance outwards extension, would’ve allowed « easily » for that same tire size ? (285/70/17)

Anyone ? :)

Yes E load. No big change. It's still shit MPG lol apparently it takes a while for the car to show its true efficiency. Have you heard this? I drive mostly highway and I'm only getting about 230ish miles out of a tank. Haven't calculated mpg per tank tho. And the little calculated on dash just shows current mpg. Cruise and lane sensing works great still. The only issues are these KMCs. They don't balance well and have vibrations. Ill be swapping back to a Method Wheel soon. Don't like the feeling of these rims. My Discount Tire had to return one of the wheels cause the balancing machine kept asking for more weight. They figured its a faulty wheel. I think they're all shitty tho cause they rebalanced all of them and they still have a vibration to them that my previous Method rims didn't. Sorry for the rant.

Last thing I'll leave you with is these K03s look skinny at 295 lol I wish they were wider. But by design they kind of taper into the tread pattern which is narrower than the full width.
