Had 35% window tint put on all the windows. Installer also installed my Screen ProTech kit. He liked it and said it felt like quality film. Squeegee was a little small and he'd like more fluid and a higher volume sprayer. He felt the included sprayer was probably adequate for the smaller films, not great for the instrument panel or infotainment screen. He ended up using his own spray and it took about 15 minutes for him to do it. Cost $30 and I still have the spare insurance kit. It looks really, really good, too.

That ScreenProtech kit is fantastic. I luckily put that on before my New Mexico trip because I had dust everywhere and no scratches. Not even on the shifter and 4WD gloss pieces.

What purpose does the rear cargo net perform ? Do people drive around with the liftgate open ?

Not trying to be a smarta$$. What does it actually do ?
Didn't think I'd use them until I did and those nets are awesome, I temporarily put stuff in them all the time now, stops the stuff from rolling around, wife loves them for the grocery bags, it's actually pretty big and can stretch pretty far to lock everything in. I don't leave anything in them all the time.

Yup. I never wanted or thought I needed that dumb net. My truck had it tacked on there and now I use it all the time. Because soup cans ALWAYS jump out of the grocery bags and when I open that hatch are like FLY AWAY STANLEY BE FREEEEE as they bounce off my toe and head for Mexico down the driveway.

You guys know that if you dont want to use a net, our 4Rs have a button on the tailgate to lower the back window to avoid that? Now the Old Lady and her LC, she breaks wine bottles, eggs and salsa all the time 😂

Sounds like a helluva omelet. Use that 2400w inverter to plug in a skillet back there!

Installed CBI Adventure Bumper. Took me pretty much the entire day working by myself. Had to call my cousin and his son over to hold it in place while I bolted it on.

Also swapped out the factory horns for something that doesn’t sound like a Corolla.

No pics but this morning I did some Carista customization. I changed the turn blinker from 3 flashes to 5, enabled roll down all windows with key fob, disabled seat belt dings, and turned off ESE. I saved some money getting the Veepeak OBD2 scan tool off Amazon instead of going with the Carista one.

Did you do all that with the Veepeak scan tool or how could I do those customizations?
The Veepeak is just to allow you to connect to the car (40–50% cheaper than the Carista one). You still need the Carista app to do the customization. I got the 1 month sub and will cancel before it renews.

These are exactly what I had the dealer do when I brought it in for air dam falling off at 750 miles 15 months ago.
These should be the standard settings (or at least user selectable)!!!
(guess I need to go to the what would you change thread :p

I have a Carista ODB module and a heads up display that also plugs in to my ODB. I tried adding a splitter and found out my Carista module won't work in parallel. Any chance you know of a solution for this? I can just reach under and unplug the HUD to access the Carista but that's a pain.
I set my directionals to 4 flashes and turned off several annooying warning dings/bells. Being able to customize plus monitor performance metrics, service alerts, and fault codes is well worth the investment.

Horn upgrade to Toyota Premium Horn.
Before I Installed them I taped off the back half and sprayed them with heat resistant plastic paint. Not sure if that was worth it but all started because I didn’t like the big cheesy “Premium Horn” sticker on it.
