Thought that may be my only option but the side doesnt have that much flat real estate that is really vertical. The sides look they are setup for butterfly clamping.
It was actually his idea and said Harley guys have done it to get pods to fit. It’s not like the light will get that hot. I’m sure it’s aluminum but still don’t want to shred and kill the light. The fins come real close not the wire too.
After speaking to someone at Baja Designs, the reccomedation was to use a new sleeve and drill a new hole about a half inch out and deal with the gap sticking out of the reciever or grind down the cooling fins on the back of the light fixture. Unsure of which way I am going go, but they are...
From the photo above, how did you secure the liught in the sleeve? The little holes line up with the little holes when the ligth is flush. I was thinking of glueing it place while it sits like yours?
i drilled while it was flush.
Ahhhh I drilled my hole when it was in flush. If I would have drilled when it was out a bit that would have worked.
Now that I drilled my hitch pin hole, I cant re-do that do I can either glue it in the sleeve sticking out a bit, shave cooling fins or just return it with the bad hole...
Thanks!
I guess we just have a very non standard reciever!
By default it sticks out about 1 inch, if glue it in place where it needs to be, it will stick out about another 1/4 inch. An alternative is shave off a bit of the cooling fins on the light. It's not like it will every get hot...
Has anyone installed or tried to install a Baja Designs S1 Hitch Light. Looked like a really straight forward install and all was working as I tested it but after I dilled the hitch pin holes I realized that the hitch pin holes are are blocked by the light fixture. I have seen some install...
Possibly a door check assembly issue. Mine failed and replaced by dealer. When I opened my front passenger door I would hear a bunch of clicks like an actuator or sensor.
That was was complaint #1 my other complaint was my key fob range was only 10ft or so. They acknowledged that the door...
My goal was going to be put a plywood platform down equal to the driver side rear seat and finish it off with some carpet and some tie downs for my fridge and ecoflow.... Now that I got everything in there to test my plan its kind of tight and if it works, IT WILL JUST FIT! I was putting the...
My original plan was to get the CaliRasied Bracket Kit with the lights. I switched last minute but still used their brackets and antenna mount off the lights. The CaliRaised kit is probably the best bang for the buck!
Hello! Sorry to revive an old thread but this is where all the knowledge is :)
Just like most, my plan was to power an EcoFlow off the truck, either by the 2400s inverter or my the 12v plug and plug my fridge into that. Is is better to use the 12v or the 2400w inverter? I dont need much, I...
Hello! I am noticing a few scratches on one of my fender flares. They are the matte black so I don't think buffing anything out is an option even though nothing is deep. I am sure this is really common considering how they stick out. How is everyone dealing with non painted flares...
