2027 4Runner TRD Pro in new Hot Honey color -- first photos

Ok, so seeing some mixed reviews - I hate it, haha. It just looks weird to me and agree with the other poster who said ti wouldn't age well. I have a 2024 LC250 in Meteor Shower, which I think would look great on the TRD Pro. I really love mine in Ice Cap, but think a metallic silver or grey/green would look great on the Pro. I've not seen a Wave Maker in the wild, but it doesn't do it for me in pics. It's just weird that Toyota only offers a few colors for the LC250 and the Pro...you're paying that much money, why not offer just a few more options? Interior as well.

For 2027 is there any info for any actual changes (other than color) even if it is minor? The 2027 Land Cruiser info came out a while ago.

I'm 100% on board with wonky colors. OUT WITH THE GRAYSCALE! Black/white/silver/gray look great, but some of us don't live in black and white LOL

This is the primary reason I chose Everest. You never even see green vehicles anymore, and it's not that wild of a color!

I don't like this new color, but I appreciate that they offer it, in the sea of grayscale.

Based on the marketing photos I can see absolutely no difference between the 3 vehicles in Honeycomb and the 4Runner in Hot Honey. Are they actually different colors, or did they just give it a different name for 4Runner marketing for some reason?

It's a no for me, but I respect that Toyota isn't afraid to go outside the box with some bolder/different colors.

That is not the yellow I was hoping for. Wanted a real yellow like the supra or gr86. Prius had a good yellow as well. This is a weak butterscotch color. Just my opinion im sure some like it. Waverunner was fun. I wouldn't call this fun, its like a bad luxury car color.

Agree or not, my point is that Toyota needs to fix its pricing. Their vehicles are simply too expensive for the quality they offer. The quality just isn't there, and the prices of new vehicles,especially body-on-frame models, have become far too high.
I also hope Toyota addresses the short, jerky shifts between 1st and 2nd gear, which many owners have reported. On top of that, they need to improve the interior lighting. The black interior is already very dark, and the factory LED lights are too dim, making the cabin feel even darker than it should.

Not really sure it matters since Toyota doesn't seem to be interested in selling the Pro. Rarely are they available so just finding one of any color is a good day.

Same reason I went Heritage Blue. It was this or Everest, and I'm not a green guy, I'm a blue guy. And lighter colors are easier to take care of LOL

I'd rather have had Voodoo Blue or Speedway Blue, but Heritage Blue had to be good enough.
