I went on a deep rabbit hole on this actually, and I'm upgrading to the Pirelli XTM ATs next week Wednesday.

The Dueler A/T Ascents I have have been great, especially in snow. However, I think the sidewall leaves something to be desired with the scree fields I've come across. I'm planning to run the San Juan trails (Imogene, Engineer, Ophir, etc.) and I think I'd want the extra insurance for 13,115ft mountain passes.

Haven't sliced one yet, but did have a close call on Bill Moore Lake such that I think the XTM AT is a worthy upgrade for the net cost of switching.

The KO3s are my second choice, but there is a instant rebate on these that ends today and the Tyre Reviews test gives a big nod to the Pirellis.

The Pirelli WeatherActive tires on my wife's CRV have been amazing, and I would absolutely buy them again - even over the Michelin CC2s.

Is there any reviews on the mid-tier Cooper Discoverer Road+Trail AT? i'm running 265/70-R47 on my SR5, stock rim & height, no rub. it's like the sweet spot, imho. it doesn't feel heavy and no noticeable drag during acceleration. Designed for more road and some trail, no significant noise at 120kph. Also, it is 3MPSF rated so should be good for this coming Alberta winter - remains to be seen.
Here's latest pic of "Shadow", my SR5 in Underground color, hence the nickname.

I can personally vouch for the Nokian Outpost NAT on a TRD sport with 20 inch wheels.

We upsized to 275/60/20 in SL rating. No rubbing, no issues at all. They run smooth and quiet and have great snow and ice traction and we have a pretty good test for that in central Wisconsin. I can only recall less than probably 10 times that we actually engaged 4wd high with these NOKIANS, where as we had to engage 4wd often in early winter before we replaced the stock tires. This is a big deal because it gives my wife more safety and security while driving in slick conditions, as she will tell anyone that she is one who isn’t good about engaging 4wd. It also really smoothed out the ride vs the factory installed road tires. Another positive is that these pick up and throw less small rocks than the stock tires did.

The only negative that isn’t the tires fault is because I had to size up and wanted to go to 33” anyways so the Speedo is off by 5% and mileage numbers are now showing slightly lower. These SL tires weigh more than the stock ones, but only like 10lbs more, so mileage and acceleration don’t seem hurt too bad.

I can say I will be buying these again if they wear well and last as long as I expect they will.

I will have to look and see, but I think we already have ~10,000 miles on them.

personally i wouldnt take any review that includes a duratrac r/t anymore.

2018 i think was the last good year the duratrac's were any good

only reason i say this is because the 2023 duratrac's are horrible. after 20k miles and 2.5 yrs of use, the winter performance has degraded alot and they still get louder (road noise) as you surpass 1/2 thread life worse than before. (just for ref, the duratrac's were SL rated)

never buying them again but then again, we are getting rid of the 23 tundra and the wife is getting an underground platinum, so wont need r/t tires anymore.

No mickey thompson baja boss in the reviews???
That was another unexpected tire I found in my search. Seems to be well reviewed initially.

How are the g3s I’ve heard good things bout em. I’m really interested in them once my wheels get here, in sl load. Do you happen to have pics of it on the truck? It’s much cheaper than the Pirellis.
They're maybe a bit cheaper i dont remember the pirelli price but they're SL load, ride better then the oem wildpeaks and have a ridiculous amount of rain traction. Worst mpg then oem tire a tad bit of road noise

Nice that’s good to know. Exactly what I’m looking for. Rain traction and quieter than other all terrains. Also looks good on the truck.

Just back from Discount Tire, and I have to say -- this really is a new generation of A/T tire.

These ride and steer noticeably better than the Dueler A/T Ascents I took off.

Steering response is excellent, along with the low weight and excellent dampening means it rides better over bumps and expansion joints than expected.

I feel warranted in my decision to get rid of the Duelers in favor of these, and I'm definitely excited to see how they perform on the trail.

I have seen the reviews and basically confirms what you’re saying. Unfortunately it only comes in load E, for now at least. I’m looking for SL.

The EV version is SL rated, which means it's just slightly lower rolling resistance.

If you're doing any serious off roading, you want E load.

C and D load are basically non-existent in 18" size since the KO3s won't be made in that size and ply.
