here is the adjustment arm on a avs tundra. it would change how close the bump would be.I think its configuration is different. Correct me if I’m wrong but in Tundra, AVS is combined with air bags, and I thought the TSB actually had more to do with the air setup than the AVS part of it.
On 4Runner, AVS seems to be front-only, and no air setup.
and i think you are correct that the avs is combined with air bags in the rear.
our 23 platinum came with it unfortunately. most people liked it, but personally i didnt care for it.
not sure how the implementation is on the 4R. but it was worth a shot to maybe see if they did the same with a pivot arm to adjust the avs on the 4R
