Thanks for the great info CBR. How much of a difference did you notice with just the 18" Wheels (before changing the shocks)?
  2. Tips to soften suspension on Limited Non-Hybrid

CBR, great information. Looking forward to your feedback on the ride with the new shocks! J
  3. Aftermarket suspension options to improve ride quality (TRD ORP)

I believe you can also run the Fox 2.0 at stock ride height, this is on the Alldogs webpage: "The front coilovers are set at approximately 2" from the factory. If you do not lift the rear, you may end up nose high. If you want to adjust the coilovers to stock height, lower the coilover...
  4. OEM Toyota All Weather Floor Liners Mats Installed

Does anyone know if the Lasfit or Weather Tech Cargo covers (5 seater option) will fit the 7 passenger vehicle (with the 3rd row flat)? I will rarely use the 3rd row, and would like to cover the whole area. tia!
  5. Canadian orders yet?

I have only seen 1 other TRD Pro in Canada! What colour will you be getting?
  6. Which all-terrain AT tires?

Has anyone tried Vredestein Pinza AT's? They have scored highly on some tests....
  7. Changes to the 2026 4Runner vs. the 2025 (standard trailer brake controller, sound dampening (hood & engine bay), interior door panel filler/rubber

The Toyota Canada webpage shows that the digital rearview mirror IS on the 2026 Limited, but the brake controller is not. I hope your dealer is correct and the webpage is wrong (regarding the brake controller!)
  8. Changes to the 2026 4Runner vs. the 2025 (standard trailer brake controller, sound dampening (hood & engine bay), interior door panel filler/rubber

In Canada for 2026 the Brake Controller is only included on the Hybrid models. None of the non-hybrid models come with it, and it is not available as a dealer installed option either :(
  9. Aftermarket suspension options to improve ride quality (TRD ORP)

Thanks for checking NotApplicable! This should make it easier to swap out rear shocks on the Limited. J
  10. Aftermarket suspension options to improve ride quality (TRD ORP)

Interesting! The Canada Toyota page states "Adaptive Variable Front Suspension". I just checked the US page, and it does not specify "FRONT". So either we have a different setup in Canada, or one of the webpages is incorrect. More research required, lol.
  11. Aftermarket suspension options to improve ride quality (TRD ORP)

Glad that more options will be coming available! I am still doing as much research as possible before making a purchase decision, and am leaning to the Limited with Front Active Variable Suspension. Therefore a few more questions. 1) Can the Front AVS shocks on a Limited be replaced...
  12. TRD Pro - Not So Pro Ride Quality!!!

Hi Chicane, Glad you like the Fox 2.0. How much did the parts and install cost? Did you keep your stock rear coil springs? J
  13. TRD Pro - Not So Pro Ride Quality!!!

Good suggestion, had a search yesterday. No 2025's anywhere near me, but will keep checking. Some might pop up.
  14. Stolen! Key fob cloning theft method used to steal 2025 4Runner 6th gen

Were you visiting Ontario? I thought thefts in Alberta were quite rare.
  15. TRD Pro - Not So Pro Ride Quality!!!

D My experience exactly! Both on the "guided" test drives and the SR5. I have been trying to find one to rent so I can get a longer test.
  16. TRD Pro - Not So Pro Ride Quality!!!

I think I have too much time on my hands, this topic has become my pet research project! Like porkyfly, I think geographic area and road conditions are the main contributor to the varying opinions on ride quality. I have now driven every possible model configuration except the Trailhunter...
  17. I test drove an SR5 and Limited, and preferred the SR5

Don't think my plan (putting SR5 shocks on the ORP) will work, looks like the ORP also has different coil spring part numbers vs. the SR5. This idea is getting too complicated and costly.
  18. I test drove an SR5 and Limited, and preferred the SR5

Unfortunately the LC is significantly more expensive than the 4Runner in Canada. To get similar features as the 4Runner Platinum, the LC is $12K more expensive. So too rich for me also !
  19. I test drove an SR5 and Limited, and preferred the SR5

I am actually considering the ORP and swapping out the Bilstein’s with the SR5 shocks. Sounds silly, but this seems the be the best way to get the features I want with a ride that I can tolerate (without spending a ton on Fox shocks etc). I drove the Limited and Platinum, but they are also very...
