on mineI've noticed it too, but my headlights were on Auto. I wonder if it would stay Dark when headlights are explicitly On. And Light when running on daytime lights only. That would make sense, so it probably does not work that way...
That's what I suspected. The Garmin GPS in my other vehicle switches on calculated Sunrise/Sunset in the current location. Works very well. I think Toyota should add that as an option.on mine

This is worth trying. The way it is phrased, it suggests it would only change the light level at which it switches, not the latency range, i.e. the difference between the light level needed to go from dark to light and vice versa. But it is possible that it will help. I'll set it to darkest and see what happens. Thanks!
