2025 4Runner SR5 brakes squeal like dying banshee when cold

Started around 300 miles with a slight squeal, now at 1151 miles, and it sounds like a banshee
I have had it for a while now. It’s really bad! It happens not only in the morning, but also after driving for a while. Used the link provided here and contacted Toyota. They recommended me to take to have the car inspected. Taking it tomorrow morning. The noise is unbelievable! I have recorded several days of Screeching to show them to the technicians. Unable to upload the videos here because they are too big?

Mine is going in next week. The screeching in reverse is really bad. Now it occasionally does it going forward as well. Super loud that everyone in the parking lot stops and stares.

? ridiculous that Toyota is not being proactive about this issue! ? It's just a brake problem being reported to them while under warranty on the first year of a totally redesigned model not to mention several other Toyota models are having the same exact issue. Toyota has been slipping the last few years & it continues to show.
Reminds me of how BlackBerry lost it's dominance to Apple's iPhones because of complacency & resting on its laurels too long. We lost awesome physical keyboard phones because people got fed up & moved to iPhones & Android phones.

Over 2000 miles on my ORP and the screeching seems to be getting worse. Only in reverse and when cold.
Hopefully, enough of us will complain to our dealers so Toyota will consider a solution.

I am sorry to hear that is happening to many of us! I took mine yesterday, and all is normal now! Please see attached the report I got, in case it helps you!
I’d be curious in a month if it still normal. Oh no, that looks like a Servco work order. Mine goes in on Monday. Let's see what they do. My sounds are getting crazy louder.
mine didn’t even try anything. Just “inspected” and made a TAS case.
That’s from servco leeward. Dropped it off at 7:30am and called me at 5:00pm to pick it up. And thats all they did. And when I picked it up the service advisor said yeah it is a known issue and not just yours is having that issue
That’s why nobody is doing anything. They know other models make it and the only fix is a complete redo of the brake pads, rotors, anti rattle clip etc..what I don’t understand is why the f does it take them so long to issue a tsb. Because besides waiting for that f thing we need to still wait for dealers to get parts and then get the car over there and installed…. Like I am already 6 months into my 3 year warranty and 6 months into owning a brand new car I can’t enjoy. Sorry rant
