Lasfit contacted me today and they did acknowledge that there is a design flaw with the 3rd row seat back mats as I stated in my previous post. Will be interesting to see if they are able to make a workable design, but I imagine based on how tight the fit is when folding/unfolding the 3rd row...
I put mine out in the Hawaiian sun for a couple of hours on my flat concrete driveway and threw some weight plates on them and they came out nice and flat. I have no issues with their floor mats and they do provide more coverage than the OEM ones which aren't too bad compared to previous gen...
3rd row SR5 owner here. I got mine this past weekend. I really wanted to like these, but there is a huge design flaw when it comes to folding up the 3rd row seats. The two mat sections that attaches to the back of the 3rd row seat and cargo area become entangled and the mats are forced to...
Installed an Offroam phone mount specifically made for our 6th gen 4runner. Pricey, but worth every penny for something that will be used each time.
Also added this coiled USB-C cord from Amazon. The length is perfect, and it has a directional plug that matches the 4runner USB-C port...

Same here. I also had another thread on this discussing the sloshing water in the rear liftgate.

Samsung phone owner here. One of the things I was excited to see in the 6G was the 45w USB-C ports in the front console. I was disappointed to find that the actual output of these 45w ports do not meet the standard to achieve Samsung's "Super Fast Charging 2.0". I was curious as to why my...
um water came pouring out of that hole
um those "big open square holes" you see are visible because I took out those small rubber plugs that were in them. Does everyone have the plugs in?
After noticing water collecting in the liftgate again (could hear it sloshing inside) I decided to compare the 6th generation liftgate to my 5th generation, and noticed that the weep holes in the 6th gen have plugs on them. Not sure if by design or by mistake. I removed 3 plugs from the weep...
Nothing to do with the SR5 vs. TRD. It's a 6th gen vs. 5th gen.
I own both a 5G SR5 and a 6G SR5. The 5G definitely rides smoother and absorbs more bumps on the road than the 6G. FWIW, I came from a '13 TRD Sport Tacoma and both 5G and 6G SR5's are a smoother ride.
The 6G4R smokes both in...
I took mine in exactly 1 week ago and they said they'd call back once the TSB was available, which they did real quick. Asked me which location I wanted to go to. Try calling them on your own or scheduling online since the parts are in.
Took mine in today. 3K miles, but it's been screaming like a banshee braking in reverse probably since 1K miles. Now it's also doing it sometimes when braking going forward.
Servco Toyota (Hawaii) says almost everyone is bringing in their 4Runner for this issue, but nothing they can really do...
