The purpose is save money in the long run. Instead of paying out of pocket for a cabin air filter, every timet to change it out. Plus, it’s more environmental friendly, than throwing the paper cabin air filter into a landfill. Had one in my previous Toyota, very simple to clean and install back in.

Seems like a good idea for the environment. I like the idea of reusing the filter instead of filling the landfill.

Not sure on the air flow, bit. But, I do notice the HVAC is not straining to work as hard in the summer and winter months.

Me neither, I never thought of installing a K&N re-usable in the cabin, but makes total sense. Thanks for the idea, (and the part # )

Will be getting a K&N Cabin Air Filter for mine for sure. All of my vehicles have had them.
