Service Menu Access Procedure (How-to Instructions)

I was able to access the service menu on my TRD ORP Hybrid using the following method:

1.) Turn ignition to "on" (but engine is off)
2.) Set Power/Volume control to "off"
3.) Go to Settings -> Display and turn the Display "off"
4.) On the now blank screen "Swipe Left to Right" 5 times, then "Swipe Right to Left" 5 times.

Not as cool as "Engineering Mode" on my Kia Seltos, but may be somewhat useful. Share what you discover!

I wonder if you can put the parking brake into service mode from that screen? It would be helpful when it comes time to do rear brakes. Otherwise you'll need an OBDII scanner to retract the parking brake motors

Looks like you can turn off camera recording there?

it's only for the headunit itself, it's not vehicle functions

go ahead and look there is pretty much zero to do in there

Too bad it can’t be used to disable the 4Runner from beeping at me annoyingly every time I step out of the running vehicle with the fob in my pocket, or open or close the tailgate hatch.

Has anyone been able to find out how to adjust the cameras? Im going to be swapping out grilles to the trailhunter version which moves the front facing camera to the top grille section.

There is no adjustment. There also isnt any such thing as a "profile setting"

Many on here have been spreading that nonsense too.
If you change your grille, you need the camera bracket made for that grille, so the angle of the camera is correct. Get it from Toyota or regret it

Looks like some slight camera adjustments can be made within the service menu system. May help fine tune things after you get the right bracket.
