  1. Frank the Tank TRD Pro build - RCI rock sliders, NYTOP recovery points, roof rails removed, Matte Military Green wrap

I guess met the right guy with the right creativity who designed his own brackets
  2. Frank the Tank TRD Pro build - RCI rock sliders, NYTOP recovery points, roof rails removed, Matte Military Green wrap

@BlinkerFluid , you’re correct BUT the holes don’t match up with the housing bracket holding the compressor. So you’ve got to drop in some legs and stuff to make it work. A dude on YT showed his way but he’s not an installer. I know mine isn’t going anywhere.
  3. Frank the Tank TRD Pro build - RCI rock sliders, NYTOP recovery points, roof rails removed, Matte Military Green wrap

i’d have to talk to the shop because they came up with their own ingenious way how to mount it
  4. What did you do to your 6th Gen 4Runner today?? 👨🏻‍🔧 🧰 🛠

RCI sliders, ARB single motor brushless compressor(the twin motor wouldn‘t fit), rear tint 15%, fronts are 50% (SolarGuard Vortex Ceramic) (nothing on windscreen) NYTOP recovery points(black, can’t really see ’em) and maybe you’ll notice the color change which is 3M 2080 Flat Military Green...
  5. Cleaned up TRD Pro - removed running boards & roof rails. Swapped scoop hood

Looks great! Just don’t do what I’ve been doing by taking the rack off and on. I’ve managed to mess up the brackets so I bought some new ones. Now I’ve gotta remove the head board and replace them since they leaked.
  6. Frank the Tank TRD Pro build - RCI rock sliders, NYTOP recovery points, roof rails removed, Matte Military Green wrap

Frank the Tank is complete. 15% rear tint was added as well as 50% on the front, just not the windscreen. Gonna look great after he gets filthy for the first real time and also covered in pine pollen. Running on the dunes only gets him kinda dirty. Oh, also had an ARB single motor brushless...
  7. Cleaned up TRD Pro - removed running boards & roof rails. Swapped scoop hood

A bit late. You’ll need to find someone who wants to swap.
  8. How many miles did you drive to pick up your 6G 4Runner?

Drove about 50 and picked it up in a JC Penny parking lot. Had it shipped here from Cali because I wasn’t about to pay their state taxes. Saved me from spending about $6k and an air flight and about a 10 hr drive.
  9. What did you do to your 6th Gen 4Runner today?? 👨🏻‍🔧 🧰 🛠

I started a thread months ago to see who wanted the scoop. Different forum but it worked.
  10. What did you do to your 6th Gen 4Runner today?? 👨🏻‍🔧 🧰 🛠

NYTOP recovery points, compressor, hood swapped out. Roof rack removed and pred steps removed. Next is wrap and tint and then maybe some sliders but that’ll be it for the time being.
  11. Cleaned up TRD Pro - removed running boards & roof rails. Swapped scoop hood

I’ll likely pick up some RCI 20 degree sliders at some point but those steps are not a good idea for the wheeling I’ll be doing.
  12. Cleaned up TRD Pro - removed running boards & roof rails. Swapped scoop hood

There is on the trd pro. Great question! I’d recommend buying 10 spare plastic clippy thingys. I broke almost all of them. I kept the insulation board.
  13. Cleaned up TRD Pro - removed running boards & roof rails. Swapped scoop hood

Not sure of your question. I may have answered it in a different reply
  14. Cleaned up TRD Pro - removed running boards & roof rails. Swapped scoop hood

Thanks! It was one of my goals from the beginning. Wanted a trd pro, didn’t want all the flashy cosmetic crap. Just got my recovery points (black) in the mail yesterday. Next is the ARB air single motor brushless compressor since the twin is too large for the engine bay (driver side. Trust me, I...
  15. Cleaned up TRD Pro - removed running boards & roof rails. Swapped scoop hood
