Window Seals uneven abnormal looking / shrinking?

As I went to put something in my car last night, I noticed my window seals are not normal looking? They look like they’re either shrinking or moving inwards on all 4 of my windows! Does anyone else have this noticeable to them? I rolled my window down to see if it was popping off somehow, but it seems like they’re shrinking inward?
Sorry if this is in the wrong area of the forum, I wasn’t sure where to put it, as it’s a general question but possibly a defect?

I think others conformed the same odd looking seal and concluded it to be normal.
I would not say normal because it looks like crap. If on all, it might be a Toyota oddity that we have to live with.

I would like to know if anyone reported to a dealer and what, if anything they did.

I went to the dealer and they will replace both. Waiting for those parts.

be happy thats the only issue on your rubber seals. our 23 tundra there is a gap between the seals butt ends (its not a full connecting piece, its cut and the gap is about 1/8 in) and its pretty common on the 22-23 tundra's and some can be quite big gaps

I stopped in and the dealership said they would change mine out for me as they were doing this. Worried that there could be a chance if rain etc. I have an appointment next week to take in and have fixed. (Fingers crossed)

I have the same thing happening on the passenger side front and rear .

The driver side done and rear looks to be better close to normal I guess.

Hello, how did you make out at the dealer with the widow channel issue? i just bought a 26 4runner Trailhunter and have it on both sides. They tell me it’s normal!? I’m sure I can push it and get them replaced but I hesitate to allow the dealer to replace them as i can’t imagine someone is going to have allot of experience with the installation. Maybe I'll leave bad enough alone.

it is 100% normal
all of them have that lil kink

whether it is a defect or design choice,
don't know....but they all have it

if by design maybe it mitigates some type of
whistle noise at high speed or affects aerodynamics*
in some way...who knows ? anyone ?

*I mention aerodynamics because there are often
many very small design changes and little bumps
that are about aerodynamics and drag...like little
fins on corner lights and small accents like that
which show up in wind tunnels or simulations

Glad this was brought up (going to check mine tomorrow) But, I was thinking today there seems to be a lot of wind noise/noises (and more than understand it’s normal) but it just seems loud compared to my 2017 TRD. To the point when I get back to town (or possibly while out of town) to go test drive another 26 just to see…

Anyone else?
