I would much prefer to pay $400 for the factory Tow Tech option which includes the controller and digital mirror and they can keep the garbage options like “screen protector, door scuff guards, door edge guards” etc.
Thanks for the information. Yeah I definitely want the tow tech package. But I’ll have to settle without if it’s not part of the options of what’s available. The best $400 option there is and for only $400 they should make it standard equipment.

Hello, I’m looking at the 2026 4Runner TRD Off-Road Premium iforce MAX. I want the optional “Tow Tech Package” but if I can’t get it on the 4Runner I’m looking at will the “Standard Blind Spot Monitor (BSM)” adjust to include a towed camper or is that only on the Tow Tech Package?

Just trying to gauge the frequency of complaints about the new 4Runner. I have one coming in in a couple of days.
If there are 200,000 members, then the level of complaints I see is no big deal. If there was truly a probem a lot more people would be posting about it.

I’ve decided that what it boils down to is if I wanted to pay the “smart price” I would indeed have the Doc fee included in that price. So instead, I got 7.1% off the "smart price" and I pay the Doc fee of $704. I can live with that!
