Any examples of how much wheel offset sticks out past fender. +25 vs +35 vs + 45 etc. 18” wheel, 265 tire.

Offset, like sidewall height, isn't a set number. +35 offset on a 9 inch wheel is going to look very different from a 7.5 inch wheel.

If you want to know what it looks like, go to

https://www.willtheyfit.com/

Put in your current wheel info, then the wheel you're looking at, and it will tell you exactly how much further it sticks out.

+35 will be flush with your fender, +25 will give you an inch or two of poke. Anything past that, I wouldn't recommend

10mm of offset doesn't magically give you "an inch or two" of poke lol.

Assuming the width of the wheels are the same, going from a +35 to a +25 will give you exactly 10mm of poke.

but thats just the wheel itself. depending on tire you may get more/less poke from the sidewall sticking out further or less, its dependent on tire width specs and wheel width specs.

some tires will fit between 7-10 width wheel but then it will also affect the the sidewall profile also.

i think that is the poke he is talking about, correct me if i am wrong ?

But that's not related to offset. That's tire width. Offset is the distance of the hub of the wheel from center. If all else stays equal, tires and wheel width, the offset pushes the entire package in or out.

If you put a 285/70/18 on a 8 inch wheel with a +35 offset, and you add a 10mm spacer, effectively making it a +25 offset, the sidewall of the tire will have moved that same 10mm.

What I’m looking at are 18” rims, 8” width with +45 offset. I’ll be putting 265 tires on, just wondering if they’ll be flush or stick poke out a little past fenders.

That's stock size for the black offroad wheels. Should be inside the fenders.

285/70/R18 with a +18 offset
Wheels are KMC
Tires are BFG Ko3 E Rated.

This is what a +18 offset looks like on a Pro

This is an 8” wheel at +35 and a 285 tire, you’d have less poke than this.
