From my knowledge, I know it goes in one way, I'd maybe try and seat it differently and really push it in. I had to give my connector a good amount of force to get it in there
I don't have any, but I did have to trim on the bottom of where the fender liner starts and then tuck that in. Also, removed the crash support bracket behind the tire as well. Little work to clear them
I don’t see a reason for them to light up. If you set a memory setting it’ll automatically go to that every time you start the car. Granted you’re the only one that drives the car. Also not that hard to access
Oh well, doesn’t really bother me personally, my windows are so dark I can’t even see inside of them at night, so I could barely see the light anyways haha
Well, when I open the door, they come on. I think it’s because they have a slight delay in turning on. I always turn my car on first, and they light up when I get in

I'm assuming you're talking about the rear? When you pop off the actual light, you have to remove that plastic piece with the ridge on it and the switchboard that goes with it as well. Grab like a mini flathead and pry it open, once you get it out, you'll be able to put the light in, as well as...
Whew,
I just wrapped up installing the MESO custom dome lights for the front and rear of the 4Runner. Installation was pretty easy on the rear, just have to pop the light out, take out the original lighting, put the plug through the hole, plug it back in and pop the unit back into place...
All paint won't be perfect coming from Toyota. They always wash it before delivery, and then again after you buy it. My paint wasn't perfect when I got mine, it was swirled a little bit, but, after I got my first pinstripes, I stopped caring for the paint. It's protected, but in terms of buffing...
