Just got a '26 ORP late last week. $63,600 MSRP + $2k add-ons (appearance protector and something else). Toyota of Irvine (CA) 6 miles on delivery after my 3 mile test drive.
EDIT: It's the hybrid iForce MAX .

  • add-ons removed (-$2,000)
  • $5,900 off MSRP dealer discount (-$5,900)
  • bought 5yrs total Toyota Care 60mo 60k miles (+$1,200)
  • Gave me $2,600 more for my trade than anyone else to make the deal / full payoff of loan (won't count this)
  • OTD with Toyota Care add on = $58,900
  • Got 4.99% with TFS
Figured the Toyota Care was a wash versus what I'll pay anyway so let them sell me after they discounted it by more than half (Started at $2,500), I think finance made ~$100 on that.

I hope it was a decent deal, I love it so far! Will be looking into some wheels and gear, maybe a 2" lift max on stock suspension for some overland excursions.

We just bought a 2026 Limited Hybrid in Underground color. At first we went to see a Off Road Premium Hybrid and then the next day they did get the Limited in. Once my wife saw the features that the Limited had, she wanted that one instead as it is her daily driver. I do not blame her since those little features for a daily driver make it well worth it. Just wish this had the heads up display and rear heated seats, so you don't have to jump up to a Platinum.

The price on the vehicle was $63,889. They did have about $1,000 in crap they were trying to add on and I had them take that stuff off, just not needed. After some haggling back and forth they did take off $2500. The real battle with the manager had to do with our trade-in which was a 7 month old 26 Palisade Calligraphy. We were able to come to a deal so glad that we got out of the Palisade, we had a love/hate relationship with that thing.

We did also did add a 8yr 120,000 mile extended warranty due to all of the electronics. Our dealership here has a lifetime unlimited warranty on the powertrain (engine/transmission).

I searched within 100 miles from our location and was only able to find 1 other Limited. Is these Limited harder to find when compared to some of the other lower trim models? I don't even see much with Platinums out there?

I drove both a gas model and the hybrid model, and as much as I am not keen with Hybrids let alone turbo engines, I did like how this drove with the Hybrid for the torque and pickup over the gas model.

I'm a fairly new owner, so I'll tell you what I got. MSRP for my 4R Off Road Premium in Heritage Blue was $61,658. Saved approximately $5200 off MSRP + PIO and no DIO + Taxes/fees, etc... OTD for $57,800. I just got up one morning and started calling dealers. I had a $2700 off MSRP from a local dealer, so used that as leverage between two other dealers. Both equal distance from me and I just kept bouncing one off the other until they wouldn't budge anymore, then got one to give me an extra $200 off with no DIO and I went with that one. The point is - there are deals to be made, just call around and use the Delivrd method to get a good deal. TFS was also offering 4.99, but my dealer was able to get me 4.75% through a local credit union. I plan on paying it off in 90 days, so it's not a big deal.

Did I get a good deal? I think so. PIOs are hard to negotiate off, but DIO are easy money.

How much of a hit did you take on the palisade and what was wrong with it?

We got $48k for the Palisade in trade, which is what pretty much everyone like CarMax was giving for it. What we never did try and I found out about it after the fact was Carvana. They gave my daughter a week later way much more for her 2019 Jeep Compass than anyone else was, so it is good to know for the future.

We had paid around $56k on the Palisade OTD, and had traded in our 21 Tahoe which netted us $24k in equity towards the Palisade. In some ways we were not upside down going into the 4Runner, but we did lose money from the vehicle only being 7 months old. Our Tahoe at 77,000 miles had the dreaded GM 5.3L Lifter and Camshaft issue where we had to replace all 8 lifters and the camshaft. We traded it in a month after it was all repaired and it wasn't even under warranty as our extended warranty had just expired by 5,000 miles. It was a war trying to get GM to help pay for some of this due to the issues they are having with the 5.3 and 6.2L engines due to their AFM in those engines. :(

While we liked certain things about the Palisade, like the tech and the interior is very nice, we felt like we were driving in a sedan. Imagine owning a 21 RAM 1500 and a 21 Tahoe, going to the Palisade. We like sitting up higher and the Tahoe having 4WD is way different than AWD on the Palisade in the winters with the snow that we get here in IL, especially this past winter.

The other issue is the recalls that Hyundai has had with the Palisade and one of them is the power folding 3rd row now not being able to go down anymore till they figure something out. They did an OTA firmware update to not allow the 3rd row to power fold down due to a little girl getting crushed in the back seat earlier in the year. It is sad what happened, but this was a feature in the Caligraphy and made using the back cargo useless since you can't manually fold those third row seats down. Then we got another recall a few weeks ago with the issues of the 2nd row seat belts being a safety hazard in a car accident. My biggest gripe was the V6 gas engine in this 2026 model is underpowered when compared to the first gen Palisade and there is not enough torque when trying to pass someone up or if I take a right or left hand turn while still driving and say you brake and then accelerate, there is not enough low end torque to get the car moving fast enough making it sluggish. The Hybrid would have been better for this type of engine issue.

Some of our issues were personal pet peeve issues. Don't get me wrong, it was a nice car, but we do like the 4Runner way much more. There are some nuances that I need to learn with the 4Runner and Toyota, but they are nowhere near the issues we had with the Palisade.

Howdy,

Just put a deposit down on a new 2026 TRD Off Road Premium in Everest.

Sticker price: $60,308

Discount: - $4,041

Fees/Taxes: $1700(probably less since I have permanent Veteran plates)

Total: $57,967 OTD

Decent deal? Looking at vindowsticker.com the biggest discount for this color and spec is only -$250 in my state(Oregon). Guessing cause this color is tougher to find.

Let me know what yall think! Thanks 🍻
