I just put a deposit down on a hybrid Limited for $61,000 OTD in NC. SRP after a few options was $64k so came out to about $6k discount after taxes etc

I'm a month into owning my 2026 ORP Hybrid - I paid 64 OTD and it came with tow package, moonroof and some dealer installed BS tint and PPF on front. Not terrible considering the sticker... but not a steal. lol

Oklahoma here. 2026 TRD Off Road.
Found the trim package I wanted, decided on a color and on January 14th I emailed every Toyota dealer within a 50 mile radius the same message. Told them exactly what I wanted, NO DEALER ADD ONS and asked for the out the door price. ONE dealer came through with no BS easy to do business with reply. Took Delivery Jan 21. I put roughly half down, financed the rest through Toyota Financial with NO extras added at the finance office. I should have it paid for in 2 years or less.

I used "vindowsticker.com" in my search for our 4Runner. There's a button marked "sale" and it shows what the vehicles were sold for. They also have a new "deal" feature that does the math and gives you a starting price.
All that being said.
ended up getting a used 2025 TH with 401 miles. It's loaded with every possible option. $67,000 plus all the Tax license registration, extended warranty (wife's request. It's her car . lol )
It's a late 2025 build. Currently has 406 miles on it.lol

Just purchased a new 2026 Platinum last week, in Texas.

Base MSRP was $65,200, with distributor add ons / delivery (actual MSRP) it was $69,600, and with dealer add ons it was 72k.

Got it for 65,200 with a 4 yr bumper to bumper warranty.

When I asked about the Costco program, the finance monger said they wouldn't do it since my trade-in price was too high, which they still made nearly $5K on resale.

Not sure how they figure those two are related.
