The Toyota multimedia system is trash, designed solely to get you to subscribe for features, be it siriusXM or Toyota's own lackluster subscription services. I feel like this update will only move things further in the wrong direction.

All I can say is everyone hold on to their panties because every 5 years we're going to see major software changes in the automotive industry just like Microsoft and apple. You either learn how to adapt or buy a 1999 4Runner 4th gen oh I wish I still had mine!

But I will add, that I do like the onboard navigation. It seems to work pretty well and I can at least see where the hell I'm going.

1999 4Runner was 3rd generation not 4th. I had 2nd gen 1990 and also a 4th gen 2004 before getting a 5th gen and now patiently waiting for a 6th gen.
