Ive gotten the same tire size except my rim is a +18. How are you fitting it? Everyone’s been saying ya can’t fit more than a 275 under.Bigger than 33 will fit with a slight mod. I fit a 285/70/18 as a spare. With a K03 that’s just under 34”. Thread for pics and comments if you’re interested is
Largest size spare tire fit in undermount carrier?
I personally wouldn’t be out in a remote spot without a spare.
Pic of the bracket you have to deal with. The thread I highlighted shows more pics of the tire in the carrier including how it’s right up against the hitch receiver. But if you deal with the bracket it fits fully inflated. 285/70/R18.Ive gotten the same tire size except my rim is a +18. How are you fitting it? you may want to also reference the exact tire your using.Pic of the bracket you have to deal with. The thread I highlighted shows more pics of the tire in the carrier including how it’s right up against the hitch receiver. But if you deal with the bracket it fits fully inflated. 285/70/R18.

I run a BFG K03. All the detail is in the thread I referenced in my earlier response. KO3 is 33.7. AT4W is 34. And I agree, and referenced in my post, that the 1/4” would make a difference.you may want to also reference the exact tire your using.
i run a Falcon Wildpeak AT4W 285 currently and can confirm these will not fit in the spare tire area unless i deflate the spare tire, however if i run 285 non AT tires i can fit them in the spare tire bay.
And to not risk any misunderstanding, you have to modify the bracket to make it work.I run a BFG K03. All the detail is in the thread I referenced in my earlier response. KO3 is 33.7. AT4W is 34. And I agree, and referenced in my post, that the 1/4” would make a difference.
So, yes, your comment is fair. Would be great if threads discussing the same topic were linked.
