I bought these fr Amazon, super simple install. I tapped into the daytime running light wire. I tried tapping into the IGN3 fuse but it screwed up all the driving sensors so I tapped into the wire.
Hey buddy from where did you grab the DRL ?

Installed these from Amazon today. Very clean install. The wires can route through the holes below the clip points for the engine bay cover. Used the fuse tap in the 10A IGN location. When the lights are off they're invisible.

The only thing I've noticed is that there seems to be some sort of system check the vehicle runs within maybe 30 minutes of turning off the engine (haven't done a deep dive to actually research yet) that applies power to the ign circuit. There's been two instances where I've walked out into my garage and noticed the lights on, but they turn off in less than a minute. Both of these instances were within a 30 minute window of parking it and I haven't seen them on at any other time. I'm not worried about it personally, just something to note.

So the Raptor style front lights aren't really my thing because in reality they a necessary legal requirement of a vehicle over a certain width, kinda like the similar roof mount lights on work trucks; specifically those exceeding 80" in width. That being said super kudos to you for a clean concise writeup and the fact they you printed your own brackets makes it even more dope. Cheers

Is it bright? Can't really tell from the photos... I wouldn't want it to be dim and have it look cheap

I ordered and installed these from Amazon.

Overall quality is fine. Don't love how they mount, essentially there are clips on the back that clip (loosely) to the grill. I used zip ties behind them to make them really secure.
They look great from ten feet away but up close I don't love the plate that blocks the grill.

Edit: after posting this I realized I might have installed them wrong and that they should be 'behind' the grill. I'll have to check it out after work...

Subsequent edit: they do not Mount behind the grill.

Further update weeks later: One of the lights has started working intermittently, when you wiggle the wire on the back of the light it goes on and off. Don't bother getting these. If I already have one light starting to fail just a few weeks in I can't imagine the whole set is going to last all that long.

I would recommend the thinner ones with smoked plastic cover. It uses the red double sided mounting tape, with proper cleaning (rubbing alcohol) these things will stick well! Since they have smoked covers, they blend in really well when they’re turned off, unless standing out like yours is what youre after.

Ended up getting the ones folks in this thread purchased from Amazon. I'll upload the install video shortly.

I LOVE my 4Runner…2.5” “ leveling kit” and Nitto Ridge Grappler 275/65 R20’s. No rubbing at all.

These look awesome, thanks for sharing the link!
Was curious, where did you get that red “TRD” badge on your lower grille? And did they have other color options?

I am a lot happier with the look and installation of the Amazin lights mentioned in this thread. Unfortunately I installed the ones from Hansshow originally. I can't believe they would send out an unfinished product and sell it for so much more money. Thanks again for the suggestion in the video for the cheaper but better ones off of Amazon
