Thats a good deal! Dont fall for port-installed options and dealer add-ons.
Warranty is to each of its own, but stick with the Toyota warranty offer, dont go 3rd party.
Hi, I just got around to install my RA80. All went well except the fuse selection. I used the 10A Ignition 1 (close to the 7.5A on the fuse B box like yours. I had error message popped up “Brake Override Malfunction” , it cleared as soon as I put back the original fuse.
Just curious how...
Looks like the 3rd party mounts are 3rd printed, not a complete plastic mold.
3D prints can definitely have good results, just matter of quality control
Ive been toying with the different mounts (CaliRaised, 4Runner Lifestyle, etsy…,ect) and come to conclusion to just mount directly on to the OEM panel above the other switches/button.
Process is pretty simple, measure many times and drill once. Keep in mind, the OEM trim panel is NOT squared...
It is a pain to get the brackets on for the rear diff. First, remove 5 or 6 bolts that hold the brake lines, tape the brake lines where it is close to the space of the bracket (avoid scratching it).
Make sure you get the correct orientation. The 2 brackets are interchangeable, left/right doesnt...
Came off my ORP, like new condition.
Comes with original bolts and plastic cover caps.
Asking $175, pick up in North Dallas area. No shipping at the moment, sorry.
If you need to replace yours, please reach out, thanks for looking!
You’re correct, i cleaned the OEM, sanded them a little, rubbing alcohol cleaned, and can spray red. It worked out well enough, and I dont have to spend much.
Toyota does have their own, as well as many other third parties.
I always marked the tires in a hidden spot and see if they actually rotate them or not.
you should definitely brought these issues up to the management.
Exhaust axle dump came across my feed, and I was just wondering why 4Runner is long and loopy all the way behind the rear axle ?
Tacoma has it also, but A LOT shorter.
Any particular season for its lengthy set up (and more expensive!) ?

I think you can also find these on ebay for pretty decent price. Find the fitment for current Land Cruiser model.
Local fb marketplace starting to show up too. Good luck !
In my opinion, mild/moderate off roading would be okay with the 3-piece skidplates. If you plan to go more advanced, then lower control arms (front and rear) skids and rockrails should be considered.
I havent scraped hard enough to compare aluminum vs steel.
Agreed, no rubber plug is worth...
I dont exactly know the weight, i think someone on the forums measured it , not that much if a difference. Aluminum is going to be lighter by some pounds
6th gen OEM plates (either aluminum or steel) will need to be removed entirely for oil change (removed 4 bolts completely, loosen other 2...
No i’d probably stick with the regular 13mm and 12mm hex bolts they provided.
My hitch cover is still there… so odd that a that piece of rubber would cost that much….
Finally got all 3 pieces OEM skid plates. These are hardened steel, thinner than the 1/4 inch aluminum TRD front plate.
I like the matching design/color scheme.
These part number are for gas model. Hybrid might be different.

There is a small plastic cover that is riveted onto the front area of the engine skidplate, thats what you’re seeing there. It is not the existing plastic cover getting squished in between.
There is no oil access for the OEM plate, you need to remove it. That red circle is a jackpoint...
