Question on tire wear 2025 TRD PRO

I have this ride with 13,000 miles. I seem to have more tire wear on the very outer edge of tires vs the inner we area. Tire rotation and oil change every 3,000-4000 miles. Also the wear is uniform on all tires.

not sure if this is normal with the more off road suspension and such.

alignment has been checked numerous times and always looks good.

What is the PSI in each tire? With that wear pattern, its usually under inflation.

Do you corner hard? It’s notorious for outside wear with big profile off road tires to wear faster on the outer edges because the tires are pushing hard there in corners.

They were about 3 psi under inflated during the winter.

I don’t think the toe is off. Alignment seemed great when it was checked.

Factory OEM Toyo ATIII are “GARBAGE” not even a year old. Tread depth went to 8/32. Swapped out to Toyo RT Trail LT size instead of the metric tire.

I just replaced the tires on my '20 Ram 2500. The old tires were feathering on the outside and had an alignment performed by the tire installer. 1000 miles forward they appeared to be doing the same thing, so hdd my buddy's diesel shop perform an alignment and the tow was off. Tire installer was Tire Discounter. I replaced the tires on my PRO w/Toyo OC3 EVs running 38 psi. No unusual wear. Our '25 ORP with OE Michelins are also wearing properly. Also running 38 psi. IDK? You might take it back to your dealer if they appear knowledgeable or visit a reputable print end shop

The tires were running at like 29-30 psi for a while. I now have them at about 35psi.

So maybe that was it. I still take it back to have it looked at. It’s just strange it’s the same on the front and rear tires.

All 4 of them seem to be wearing the same.

That's pretty low air pressure. Everyone bones about the ride of their vehicles with regard to tire pressure. Can't imagine your vehicle handled very well running that low of tire pressure.

I completely agree with this....almost 12K on my OEM ATIII and there is no way I can run them this winter!!!!

OEM tires are usually lighter than what is sold to consumers. That usually means less tread depth when new and thinner/ less belts. It's all to get the best fuel mileage. If you are rotating your tires every 3000 to 4000 miles then you are going to see even wear front to back. It doesn't mean the wear is happening on both front and rear. However if I had to guess it's most likely just the low tire pressure.
