Yeah builds can become quite the rabbit hole…lol. I’m already “upgrading” the TH. Amsoil looks like a good bet. Did you do it yourself? Love your Taco- what suspension did you use?

Can you tell me if you clipped yours where the clip is in the picture, or one down from that where the arrow is

Yeah I did the Amsoil myself I do it when ever I think it needs it. Park your truck on a tarp since it does make a mess of your drive way if you don't lol... The Front is A total Chaos kit while the rear is JD fab SUA that's been modified a bit...

That is set at 2.5" one down will get you at 2.25". 2.5" should sit almost level with the Dobinson's I used so either one depending on your taste... Hope that helps

Ok - that’s a good call about the tarp. What areas do you avoid? I’m assuming the exhaust. You said it takes a while to set up. Like 24 hours?

Did you do the full front OME? UCAs? If you could post a link to the front setup that would be awesome.

I’m considering the same to eliminate the front rake (1.5”) but not cause squat when towing my light trailer

can you adjust the lift height yourself without removing anything?

I would say 24 hours on a hot day but it keeps setting up over time.

I am on stock UCA's this is kind of a one and done as you have to pull them apart to adjust them... The lowest these will go is 1.75" and they would probably be a rough ride as they would be right on the external bump stops...

perfect. So just the front OME coilovers?

I thought for sure I read something about requiring UCAs for anything over 2” but I could be mistaken

Can you tell me why it would ride rough, and what will be right on the external bump stop. The reason I'm asking is my plan is to set them on the second notch from the bottom.

Did you run the stock rear shocks with the Dobinsons springs?
Ran the MT64s in the rear as well

Maybe I drive crazy but even at 2.25" I feel that it contacts the front bump stops a bit early. Honestly If I had set them at 2.5" they would be about perfect in my opinion I just think 2.00" would really ride the bump stops...

So the kit as follows:

OME front coilovers
https://overlandoutfitters.ca/colle...r-mt64-coilovers?_pos=11&_fid=9e2320746&_ss=c

OME rear shocks
https://overlandoutfitters.ca/colle...mt64-rear-shocks?_pos=12&_fid=9e2320746&_ss=c

Dobinsons Rear Springs
https://kraveautomotive.ca/collecti...ng-pair-c59-885v?_pos=39&_fid=715ad75dc&_ss=c

Did you need any sway bar spacers or brake line spacers seen in OMEs full MT64 suspension kit?
So far just the above I will probably order the sway bar and brake spacers. Oddly the ARBs part #s for these show they fit the Landcruiser only but I assume they are compatible being they are close to the same platform...
