Hardly any additional noise with these tires. But I've only had them for the last 100 or so miles. I'm definitely happy with the upgrade and will not be substituting the OEM SR5 rims with an aftermarket option. What is noisy is the OEM rooftop crossbars. They will have to come off soon and only placed on when the need for an overhead compartment is called for.Any more road noise than the stock SR5 rim?
are the better at at absorbing road bumps and potholes?
Thanks! Agreed!Looks nice ... IMO 265/70R17 tire size is what should have been on the SR5 from the factory versus the 245/70R17 tires. To me the 265's look proportionally correct for the 4Runner and properly fit the stock SR5 17" x 7" wheels.
Where are you reading these comments? What are they saying? I have been getting pretty straight forward information that everything is fine. This question has been addressed for you a couple of times in other threads I have been on and I have seen others including myself report satisfactory results.Any issues with those tires and the 7" OEM rims? I keep reading comments that say you should not go much larger on that rim cause it can cause bulging and it's not safe? I too am looking at the same size but unable to get a concise answer from tire shops or tire rack,
