Hey guys, just purchased an underground grey TRD orp January 1st. I’m looking at a 3/2” lift and some nice wheels/tires.

I’m a lifelong Mickey Thompson haver and have decided on the 35/12.5R17s, but am in need of some references on wheel offset. I do love a little bit of poke but understand how much strain low offsets put on suspension components.
I’m looking for something between +25 and +18 or even +12. I’m not sure if 0 would work, but would love to see some references either way. I am prepared to do some trimming in any case. The factory offset as far as I’m aware is +55.

Please feel free to drop some front view poke pics below! =D

Yes I have been all through that thread already, I love it! but there are just a few photos referencing poke. I was posting here to see if anyone could share top down/front view of poke and offset info specifically.
TRD ORP with 285/70/18 Toyo A/T III on TRD PRO (+20 Offset) wheels:

Note: I've swapped these tires to TRD Flat Black option wheels (+45 offset) because the rear tires rubbed on the fender flare at full articulation off road - and I did not want to risk damage to tire or fender. So that poke is 1 inch less on current setup. (Strangely I've not yet photographed that)

i am pretty sure if you go with most aftermarket wheels the tires will poke enough to throw debris onto the side and especially onto the kickout on the rear passenger doors.

right now with oem wheels/tires/mudflaps, the slush/snow/debris hitting the kickout on the rear doors is unacceptable long term wise, at least for me in ND.

Actually why I am hesitant to go any wider on my TH when it is time for new tires. Probably sticking with 265/70/18.

right now i am stuck with the oem mudflaps for this winter.

i will be looking into some rekgens that i used on the 23 tundra. not to fond of the rallye armor mudflap cost and from what i have seen of the ark's they dont thrill me either. so its going to be a costly venture to find the right set of mudflaps for my appeasement.

they worked perfrectly on the 23 tundra since i have the auto boards on the 23 tundra platinum as i do on the 4R platinum.

i went with the oem mudflaps on the 23 tundra and they sucked, so i tried the rekgens.

here is some pics of the 23 tundra oem flaps vs the rekgens i put on....

Love to see this! Seems like the right amount of poke to me, but you’re right I’d hate to damage fender flares.
Two questions; Did you do any trimming or mods at all like crash bracket delete?
if not, do you think it would clear the fender flares with a minor amount of trimming?

Definitely a concern of mine as well! I hear the paint is sooo chippable. I plan to upgrade to some wider fender flares at the time I install new tires.

Yes, with this setup (+20 offset wheels) the crash bracket rubbed, and it rubbed on felt and air dam tab in front. Removed the crash bracket and Was able to bend the tab up and push the felt back with heat gun to eliminate front rub, but when the rear tire rubbed on fender, I switched.
With +45 wheels the rub on the front is gone and I might be able to reinstall the crash bracket but haven't tried yet. Offset matters.

Fortunately, the TH flaps are a little wider than that.

the width isnt the issue, its the outer coverage and height coverage. they dont extend out far enough to catch/deflect debris hitting rear passenger door kickout. also the oems down extend down far enough to mitigate the rearward splash to keep it below the bottom edge of the rear doors.

Hey JR. For what it's worth, I have the ARK flaps on my PRO and really like them. They are low profile and being that they are black, along with the Pro, they just seem to blend right in and I don't even notice them. Best of luck on your search!
