FYI - the OEM Toyota carbin air filter part number for 2025+ 4Runner 6th gen is: 87139-0C010

same. I probably would have just thought they were covers for the rear speakers or something lol

My understanding after doing research and searching together w/ dealer parts desk (this was a few months back)
The TH engine air intake filter is reusable. Like a K & N filter type. Toyota sells the kit or use others.
Hard to find even the Taco TH filter.
I'm gonna check mine soon at 10K

Yep! For the 2025 TH and Pro, the Engine Air Filter Part: 17801-YZZ11 is NOT the correct filter. The TH and Pro have a reusable filter that is meant to be cleaned. Toyota apparently no longer sells a cleaning kit. Need to use a third-party cleaning kit such as K&N Air Filter Cleaning Kit-99-5000 (Amazon $24).

If you want to replace the filter with an OEM filter: Toyota PTR03-35241-AA FILTER CONCL TR ($96 Toyota Retail).
