give toyota a few years and they will put a proper handle in that spot hopefully and we can retrofit one.

Decided to 3D print my own grab handle!

I think it looks pretty good. You can easily re-designed it to make it perfect. Now at least you know it is possible. I just finished to installed anchor points and planning out for the driver side. I am waiting for my handle bar and install it. It will be install directly into the A pillar metal frame, not the plastic trim. It still allows me to keep OEM A Pillar plastic trim perfectly.

Just answer your questions about this over the other post. I am waiting for my handle bar to come and install it.

for some its has to look oem, others its good enough. personally, i could care less, i rarely use the passenger seat as it is and 90-95% of the time its just me in the vehicle.

heck i dont even use the handle in the 23 tundra, i always use the steering wheel since i dont know when.

at least i know the position of the steering wheel will always be at an ideal height and easy to grab vs the 1 googol (or if you want the long version of 10 duotrigintillion) of grab handles ever made :ROFLMAO:

FYI I read somewhere that these handles were redesigned after Toyota started to see passenger head injuries from the grab handle designs that stuck out more.

Now it's just ripping fingernails off before people fall and break their coccyx because most people don't have the fingertip grip of a professional rock climber.
