lol yeah no for myself. never had since my first car back in 1983 that was my grandmothers hand me down phoenix LJ (the funniest part, the door sill says "body by fisher" as in fisher price)

the only things that has names is parts of my "girlfriend" as my wife tells me of her best friend

my daughter when she was younger would name the vehicles, but i dont know if she does that anymore.

I also don't even like assigned a gender to inanimate objects. I often notice folks referring to things as "her" or "she". I suppose from there, the naming becomes easier for those folks who assign genders (as in vehicles, firearms, musical instruments).

OK, now I am referring to my 4Runner as they/them.

It’s just a natural human instinct to name things that are special to them. I’m a guitar player and I name all my guitars, I also name all my vehicles. My Nissan Xterra was named Logan. My RAV4 was named Maverick. My TRD Pro is named Odin. What’s your rides name?

I never use my car’s names outside of conversation with my family.
My current daily is named Klaus (Merc C-class)
My Supra is named Maurice after the old man that did the appraisal when I first got the car all those years ago.
I’m picking up my 4runner tomorrow and I think I’ll name it Freddy. Seems like a fun name for the kids, Freddy the 4Runner.
