I think there's a difference between using water and high pressure water. I don't see how you can effectively clean your engine bay without at least a water rinse.

I agree. As long as a person uses common sense there shouldn't be a problem.

I look in my engine bay and see a really easy thing to work on. Everything looks so accessible.

And looking in my engine bay is rare. I couldn't care less about the aesthetics of it.
