. I guess you answered your own question. "I don't understand the logic controlling the hybrid system." We spend a lot of time on and off road pulling a small Lance travel trailer. My '26 iForceMax Hybrid easily cruises up hills and accelerates much quicker than my 5th gen 4R. I feel it's how...
That's a great post. You really stated the facts. I sold my 5th gen and got a 6th gen Limited iForceMax Hybrid. There is a HUGE difference in overall power. Pulling our small
Lance travel trailer over some northwest mountains (North Cascades Hwy, for example) made my 5th gen gasp and struggle...
That looks just like my '26 Wind Chill Pearl Limited Hybrid! Amazon delivered those same supports yesterday. Are you happy so far? I also installed the fitted "plugs" for those fender vents. I got tired of muddy water, etc. drooling out onto the fender.
I've been wanting to do this to my '26 Limited Hybrid. Are you still happy with yours? I worry about the cheaper priced ones but I hate paying high prices if they're unnecessary. How long have you had them installed. I'm ticked at Toyota for this downgrade.
I was able to upgrade the lift gate lights on my 5th gen 4R but these appear to be non-upgradable. The ones I use in my travel trailer are motion activated so when I open a cabinet door, they come on. I'm going to try one on the liftgate now.
My 2026 Limited has the lift gate lights but they are woefully weak. I use magnetic strip lights in our travel trailer but never thought of using them in my 4R. This is a great idea.
I removed the air dam on my '26 iForce Max Hybrid Limited. I replaced all the hardware and if and when I sell the 4Runner, I'll put that brand new air dam back on for the next guy.
I have no whistle at all.
I did the same. I didn't care for the black OEM mats that came with my Hybrid Limited. They showed every bit of dirt. I got the tan WeatherTech because they go best with my Portobello mushroom leather interior. Good fit and lightens up the interior now that the ceiling is black.
