Today is the one year anniversary of delivery of my 2025 ORP. Overall I really like the vehicle but I have a few things that bug me and a few things I like more about the Land Cruiser. I know this topic has been debated online a million times, but this feels like a fun one to get the community's input on.
Cons of 4R:
Cons of 4R:
- MPG - currently getting 17 while driving very conservatively
- Seats don't lay flat
- Hard plastics everywhere
- It just looks 200% better. It's a more mature rugged design IMO. 6G4R is a little more in the vein of the Wrangler and Bronco aesthetically. (this is the main reason tbh)
- Hybrid seems like an upgrade on power and minor MPG improvement
- Interior seems more spacious feeling
- AWD
- Locking center diff
- Disconnecting sway bars
- requires premium
- expensive
- tiny gas tank (17 gal)
- Weaker CV joints apparently
