4 days after receiving my TRD ORP my dumbass somehow managed to do whats described here: https://www.4runner6g.com/forum/threads/6th-gens-dent-easily.5698/
It bugged me enough that I filed a comprehensive claim and took it to the dealers collision center to get it addressed and fixed properly. Drop off was this past Monday, pickup was suppose to be this past Friday but didn't happen because they were waiting on some kind of black tape. I think they called it " appliqué " which is for the door pillar. Im not sure why they needed that considering the damage was to the front quarter panel, but I am guessing they probably ended up repainting the drivers side door also so that everything blended.
Fortunately it sounds like I get it back on Monday, but not having it back in time for the weekend has been driving me nuts.
The rental agency did give me a nice jeep to drive. It's actually a pretty nice ride, and had I test driven one of these it'd have been a toss up between a jeep and a 4runner. The jeep is just downright fun to drive, at least for short periods of time. I don't think it's something id want to drive for an hour long commute like I have as it is just too " jeep like ". It's a bouncy ride after a while.
