Can’t install OEM rock rails because no threaded holes in the frame

Thank you guys! Gonna get a set of 12 from caliraised as they are local to me. For the 4 front bolts, they are just normal M10-1.25 bolts right? Anyone know the length or PN of the OEM toyota ones?

Strangely, I know this because Cali Raised forgot to send me those bolts. And so I asked them.... Here was their (very quick) response:

Thank you for that heads up! The bolt for the front of the sliders should be a M10x1.25x30mm bolt so the 25mm bolts you purchased should be fine. As a courtesy for that inconvenience, we can reimburse you that $20 you spent on the hardware.​

outside of automatic running boards (which are FIO option) all the other boards are PIO which means the port installs them and also creates the proper threaded bolt holes during install.

otherwise the factory doesnt thread the holes for the off chance you might install boards after the fact.

thats why you dont see all trims with the proper threaded holes.

the limited/platinum come standard with the basic running board.

Interesting. Wonder how hard it would be for us to add the treads. Interestingly enough, I met someone that had a TRD ORP with the trailhunter sliders added at the port.

Just checked my early 2025 SR5 and all the holes on the bottom are threaded. Not sure why they would not include them on the higher end models

Got it done with the blind bolts from Caliraised LED. It would be cool to add the threads in the future (this install would’ve been so much easier with standard bolts).
