2025 4Runner TDR cameras everywhere but most only work when stopped or until the vehicle reaches 10 MPH. I would like to have the rear camera on all the time I am driving. Anybody know if this is possible?

Impossible. Toyota disable 360° camera view when speed more than 10 mph for safety. Other manufacturers do that too.

I suppose if you have the digital rear view you could technically have the rear camera on all the time. I never use that on mine, but it is there.

Correct, but when off-roading (or somewhere you are often going very slow but may go over the trip point) you can select the Auto option on the screen so it will at least re-enable the camera when you go back under 10 MPH.

i suppose until tss 4.0 comes along, this is a moot point.

but dont expect tss 4.0 to come to the 4R anytime soon. you will have to wait until the next gen for a newer tss version if toyota follows the normal protocol.

(protocol is being they dont update a gen tss version until a new gen, at least on the BoF vehicles)

high selling units like the rav4 and camry can even see mid cycle refresh changes

rav4 5th gen came with tss 2.0 (2019-2022), then 2.5 came out in 2023-2025, then 6th gen rav4 came with tss 4.0

TSS 4.0 (2026 Models): The most advanced system debuts on the redesigned RAV4. It operates on a new Arene OS software platform, utilizing higher-resolution radar and cameras for predictive rather than merely reactive safety. It includes upgraded versions of Pre-Collision with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Tracing Assist, Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, and Proactive Driving Assist. It also supports Over-The-Air (OTA) updates.

Same. I know some people use it 100% of the time instead of the actual mirror, but I just can't get into it like that.
