Thanks for posting this. Considering buying a Trailhunter and wanted to make sure the security pin would clip in on the Thule. Noticed the hitch is a little chunky.

Will share more images with bikes soon, but I received my new hitch rack, RockyMounts GuideRail, this evening and absolutely love it. It's rock solid with extremely smooth movements, single-handed operation, and comes with a very beefy integrated chain/lock. Highly recommend.

Assume you've found a solution, but just in case, RockyMounts make's an XL pin for their lock that came with my rack. Imagine it works with other locking mechanisms as well.

You have to turn it off or the system thinks your hitting something. Then each time you turn the car on you're going to get a warning in the center cluster about it being off you just have to acknowledge it with the return error button on your left hand side. A little annoying.

I have a thule rack with the screw in, locking pin. What is the solution to making this setup work? The pin measures about 4.5" but just doesn't get enough bite on the threads.

We've got a 1Up for the hitch, but also have mounts on the roof. We carry up to 4-6 bikes at time to events throughout the spring/summer months.
