Thanks for the photo. Truly appreciate it. I’ve been kicking around the soundskins, or new tail lights. Not sure I can convince the wife of both… I’ll try wrapping that tape around that area.
Oh, that’s interesting they don’t post the review…
I am in my car now and pressing anywhere on the panel doesn’t help. However, what does help is grabbing and squeezing the handle on the door. The second I let up, it starts buzzing.
my go-to song for rattles has been Bust a Move. Neighbors...
I’ll take a look. I assume you haven’t found a fix? My car needs to go in soon for the oil change so I’m tempted to bring it up again, but think I prob should take out any evidence I was ever in the panel.
Has anyone else performed this fix and it has NOT gone away? I did this yesterday but used foam tape instead of the sheets as demonstrated. I’m afraid it appears worse than before… I ordered the Amazon basics insulation and plan to take it apart and re-do once the weather warms up a bit more...
I have had this same issue since I’ve owned the truck (10k miles). I’ve never mentioned it to the dealer because it is so sporadic I don’t think they’d ever be able to replicate it. I changed the air filter and cabin air filter and it seemed to help for a little bit, but it’s back. The air...
I regret getting the illuminated emblem. I was at the dealer getting new wheels and my wife suggested it. I was so thrown off by an unsolicited accessory approval, that I bought it.
Knowing what I know now, I want the heritage style grille and more amber in front than white light.
A lot depends on how you're driving. Mine got unbearable on highway which is 75% of my driving. Also as we are getting into winter, and the winds kicked up here in the midwest. Maybe I'll throw them back up there in the summer and see how it goes.
Same happened to me. I was already there for a different issue, they installed my front plate crooked.... Completely missed the dimple they were to drill into.... They said they rotated the tires, but one had a big ole X on it I couldn't scrub off and that tire never moved.
Funny enough, once the temps here dipped below 60s, I haven't had any issue with the rattle. Gotta wait till spring or next summer to get this fixed in order to replicate it!
Has anyone swapped out their paper filter for the TRD air filter? Wondering if there is any real benefit, other than not having to replace the paper filter?
