Curious to see what you come out with! It's been a year and not much from ARB yet for the 4runner.
We're working on releasing new products. We'll have more information on product releases on the forum, so make sure to stay tuned!

I won't lie, I'm a bit of an ARB fan girl. I am looking forward to an MT64 kit in a few months and I am totally excited to see the details on that new front bumper.
Love to hear it! Send us some photos once you have the kit installed on your 4Runner. We would love to see it!

For those who have the Trailhunter, what’s your favorite ARB product on it?

I'd have to say the suspension by far!
I love the styling of the roof rack, but am quite disappointed that there aren't any rear window MOLLE panels available.
Lets see some photos of your Trailhunter!

At the moment, we are not developing any sort of rear window MOLLE panels. However, there are plenty of accessories that are compatible with the Base rack. What are you trying to mount?

The suspension…I love the OME. Roof rack is pretty much just added weight.

We're glad you're loving the suspension!

What are your goals for the build? Roof racks can be incredibly useful for storage, and if you're planning on adding an RTT, it's a non-negotiable. Our base racks have plenty of compatible accessories; we'll be doing a post about that soon! Plus, a 4Runner without a rack just doesn't look right, you know!

Thanks for the response!
I purchased a Rotopax gas can and then found out that they need to be manually vented. If I mount it horizontally on the roof rack, I would need to remove the gas can anytime it needs to be vented.
Rear window MOLLE panels are very common on 4runners, I feel this is an oversight by ARB not to have anything in development.

Love the color!

This is definitely something I could bring up to the team. We love hearing about what our customers want for their builds, and if we can make it happen, it's a win for everyone!

Thanks! There have been quite a few people who have replaced this factory roof rack so they can add the MOLLE panels.
If ARB offered something that would fit the factory rack, I'd purchase it.
Another, less common, reason for adding rear MOLLE panels is for glass protection from car thieves.

Hi there,
I wanted to clarify a few things regarding mounting accessories to your rack. We do offer many Base rack-specific accessories on our website. With that being said, you are also able to use accessories that can be mounted on a t-slot channel. If you need any more clarification or if you're looking for something specific, please let me know, happy to help!
Thanks. I opened a ticket with ARB support because it was unclear which mounts for recovery boards would work with the rack and the support team told me they can't answer it because the rack was designed by Toyota and only made by ARB. Then closed my ticket. For now I've just not used the rack at all. My local ARB reseller said the same and recommended I add the Prinsu. Kind of defeats the point of buying the Trailhunter though.

Thank you @marie! Looking forward to it. I hope your bumper gets rid of the 2nd mustache the 6th gen has!

Hey 4Runner6G!

We’re excited to finally be part of this community. Whether you’re getting started with your 6th Gen build or already planning your next round of upgrades, ARB 4x4 Accessories is here to help you!

If you’re not familiar with us, we’ve been around since 1975, building reliable gear that holds up in the toughest conditions. From our Old Man Emu suspension kits and Air Lockers to bumpers, roof racks, and our latest brushless compressor, we’ve spent the last 50 years perfecting our products to give you the best tools on the trail.

With the launch of the 6th Gen 4Runner, we partnered with Toyota on the new Trailhunter trim to help make it trail-ready right from the factory. We know every 4Runner trim is capable right off the lot, but the Trailhunter takes it a step further with ARB components already built in. It features a custom-tuned OME suspension, full-size roof rack, and frame-mounted side rails for extra protection. And since it all comes straight from Toyota, it’s backed by their new vehicle warranty, which definitely adds some peace of mind.

If you’re deciding between trims, the Trailhunter is a solid choice for anyone who wants a trail-ready setup without the hassle of building it piece by piece. It’s a great foundation, and there’s still plenty of room to make it your own.

For those who have the Trailhunter, what’s your favorite ARB product on it?

We’re looking forward to chatting with you all about gear, updates, and everything 6th Gen 4Runner. If you’ve got questions, drop them below, we’re here to help! And don’t worry, we’ve got some new products for the 6th Gen on the way, and this community will be the first to hear about them.
Just really wish yall would hurry up and release the new MT64s that are tunned for more weight. I called and was told that they were scheduled to release early to late summer, but I'm impatient lol. Also was told Summit bumper and roof rack are coming at the end of the year. Hurry up please! lol

Yes, I’d love to have a summit bumper before the deer start getting really active in the fall!

I had a deer step out and take out the front end of my previous Tacoma while commuting to work (pre ARB bumper). When I got it back I installed the summit bumper the same day.
