My 2025 4Runner TRD Off-Road Premium Hybrid is scheduled for delivery soon, and I’m planning some initial upgrades. I’m leaning toward running TRD Pro wheels (18x8.5 +20mm) with 275/70/18 Falken Wildpeak AT4Ws (~33.5”) and the Westcott Designs preload collar lift.

I’ve seen a few builds with a similar setup—specifically one running TRD 18” wheels (not the Pro wheels), Nitto Terra Grappler 275s, and the Rough Country leveling kit—which looked great. But I’d love to see more examples, especially with the TRD Pro wheels and Falkens.

Looking for anyone running this combo (or something close) who can share pics and notes on clearance—especially without trimming. I’ve seen a lot of people go 285/70/18 or 35”, but I want to keep things clean and avoid rubbing or cutting.

Also interested in feedback from anyone using the Westcott Designs preload collar lift with this setup. Curious how the stance looks and how it rides, especially on the hybrid suspension.

Thanks in advance—photos and feedback much appreciated!

Here’s some pics of mine when it had 275/70r18 KO3’s. Unfortunately we couldn’t get the KO3s to balance correctly so I’m back in the 265/70r18 OEM Falkens for now. No issues with the KO3s running on pavement even at full lock despite not having a lift of any kind. I never got to take them off pavement though, the steering shake was crazy.

It looked much better with the 275’s and more aggressive tire. I saw the AT4Ws and they looked pretty similar to the KO3’s, also much better than our OEM falkens (I don’t even think they’re full blown AT3’s). I was always planning on ordering the Westcott kit too, just have to find a shop that’s not wanting to charge crazy $ for my install.

Also… I don’t park like this. I had to move quickly bc an unattended car was double wide and we were blocking traffic through the tire shop’s parking lot. This was the next place that was wide open so I could get a good walk around in.

I actually came across your post right after making mine and saved your photos—your setup looks awesome. I had originally planned to go with the Westcott lift right away, but seeing how clean your 4Runner looks on the factory suspension with the 275s has me reconsidering.

I’ve been running the AT4Ws on my Tacoma TRD Off-Road and love them, but those KO3s look great too—definitely a more aggressive look than the OEM Falkens. It’s also reassuring to hear you didn’t experience any rubbing, which I wouldn’t expect going just one size up, but it’s always good to have real-world confirmation. Appreciate you sharing!

I don't do much of any off roading. I might do a bit of desert. Went with an a/t tire wild peak at3wa or something like that it's a 265/70/18 added a nice height rides like stock no steering wheel issues at all and that's what I wanted to make sure

Bummer about the KO3s dude. Your rig looks so damn good though! I hope you get your pro wheel situation sorted out. Do you have any pics of the stock tires on the pro wheels and how much they poke out? I am waiting for my pro wheels to show up and wondering if I need to order the nytop fender flares. Not a fan of pokey wheels generally. Thanks!

Did you have any pictures of the back with these tires on? Do you know if the tires poked out past the fender or were the flush with them?

Sorry lighting is terrible. 275 would look better. I just got this size for a great deal and it fits a full size spare. I purchased five rims and five tires

Sorry! I’m way late on this response, just saw it! If it’s still any help, these are all on the stock ORP Falkens.

Are you rubbing up front? For the straight on pic of the rear, there looks to be very little space. Can you post a straight on pic of the front too or did I overlook that?
