Because I am insane and don't mind spending hours at Discount Tire. I swapped from the KO3s to the Falken AT4Ws. They had to swap out a bad BFG and they still had some slight wobble. Both E load. So figured I'd try something new while able.

The AT4Ws are definitely louder than stock and the KO3's, but even though they are only 3 pounds lighter than the KO3's, the feel like they roll better.

I am still getting a little jitter on the road at random times but I'm thinking that might be just life with an E load tire and this vehicle and suspension.

I went back to the 265 in the AT4Ws when I went up to the 275 in the KO3 because the 265 AT4W is a 33.4" diameter tire. The 275 BFG was 33.1". If I did 265 in the BFG it was like 32.6". Interestingly, the 275 in the AT4W is slightly shorter at like 33.2". I also saved 3 pounds.

Ramble over.

Nice. Did u pay full price for the new set of tires? Or did Discount Tires accept the returns of KO3 and you paid the difference?

They were actually cheaper so I got a $238 refund. Discount refunded my entire amount since the BFGs had balance issues.

I'll post some MPG data on my next fill. Some more thoughts after living with these for a couple of days.

Hit a light dirt and rock road hitting a MTB trail today and they felt very nice and plush on that terrain. This will be where they shine for sure.

We are getting some rain next week and I'll see how they do there.

One thing to note I wasn't aware of. They only have 2 ply sidewall on this size. Thought all their E load were 3. Not the end of the world, but info for some. Still better than standard SL obviously.

I have the BFG Ko3s E rated tires on my Pro. Never had any kind of issue. And they haven’t been road force balanced.
