I have same situation, I contacted Toyota and they had no answer other than to take it up with the
delivery dealer, I have' got to go there yet.
here is their response:

The guys at Trailgridpro.com told me my SR5 only has 6 actual speaker assemblies and Toyota classifies the coaxial speakers in each rear door as 2 speakers per door because they’re coaxial even though it’s only one actual speaker assembly. Coaxial = a tweeter and a sub in one speaker assembly.
do you have a non jbl to look? My 2016 4Runner had speakers in the hatch two in the front dash 1 in each door. I have jbl in my 2025 I know where all my 14 speakers are

Not in my SR5
My rear hatch is a panel without grilles or perforation. It is very silent. No speakers. Congrats on your 14.

Don’t forget that magical removable dash speaker too, by far the best reason to get a 4Runner!

100% useless piece of tech. Maybe 10 years ago certainly not now. I’ve used it once to do a trunk or treat but I bought mine for ventilated seats and memory seats.
The video is not correct when explaining the base model speaker count.… confirmed by Trailgridpro themselves when I asked what was going on. They did the same thing everyone is doing and saw the “8” speakers listed by Toyota on the window sticker. Silly in my opinion to call a single coaxial speaker qty 2 speakers… Toyota says the JBL system has 15 speakers…. I’d question this too if I had this option..
