6 month update of 2025 4Runner TRD Pro ownership

[Tahoe TRD Pro]

Just passed 6 months/3k miles of ownership (arrived Feb) of driving in High Sierras snow & dirt.

This is production number 22 in total 6th Gens off assembly line, and first TRD Pro in the first week of “customer” production. Despite a few friend cautions of purchasing first year model, plus a few pessimistic YouTube vids, I am happy to report that the truck has performed flawless. Not one issue to date.

Serious mountain performance upgrade from wife’s Range Rover. Very happy with performance. Gas mileage is staying steady at 20mpg, which I had hoped for a couple more mpg from hybrid. It is a daily driver, high altitude / big hills - turbo usually helps in thinner air. But gas milage was not a consideration when ordering.

Everything else has been perfect - major head turner in a mountain town

Nice rigs! Gotta love the quality of trucks coming out of Tahara plant. Zero issues after 6 months for a first week production TRD Pro is . And it sound like you don't baby your 4R either and put it through its paces in some mountainous terrain, so even more impressive not a single issue.

Swapping to studded snow & ice tires in Nov - Good Year DuraTrac Trac Studs - same tire CA CHP uses on their snow prepped vehicles
Already Added Sixth Element 11k lbs tow hooks for pulling or getting stuck in snow
It’s my wife’s 4Runner - so most $ goes into the Taco

How did you find what the number was coming off the production line? I have the same vehicle; took delivery this week.
