Have you tried using an OEM crush washer? If so, sounds like you have a faulty drain plug. Hope they get back to you soon.Yes Sir! 30ft-lbs I've tried it twice

Iām torn about getting the bag, is it reusable? Do you just still use a drain pan for the oil filter or just into a bucket then bag?Very happy with the ValvoMax drain plug! The easiest and cleanest oil change Iāve ever done hands-down. You can even push and pull on the plastic oil bag to create a vacuum and pull residual oil out of the pan. No more waiting a lifetime for the last drip (no drain plug).
Also, the cut oil container screws into place nice and snug for a solid no BS funnel.
I went with this one bc the thread length is supposedly just right so it doesn't block oil from coming out, and the stainless steel cap that screws on feels more secure than a lever.

100% recommend the bag. No more hot oil to touch or splatter. It is reusable. I take the bag to the auto shop to recycle the oil.Iām torn about getting the bag, is it reusable? Do you just still use a drain pan for the oil filter or just into a bucket then bag?
How many times has your oil been drained & who did it?Yes Sir! 30ft-lbs I've tried it twice
Itās been changed three times. Recently after the failure of trying to get a seal with the ValvoMax , I reinstalled the OEM drain plug with no issues. How many times has your oil been drained & who did it?
It might be possible that the oil pan became damaged from someone over torquing the drain plug.

I'm sorry that it caused you problems. I'd be frustrated also.I purchased the M12 1.25. Iāve done all my oil changes except the one done just under 500 miles. The dealership did that one. I didnāt try the blue OEM crush washer. I always keep a handful around. The reason I didnāt do it, is I already had lost 2 QTs of Mobile 1 0w20 with each attempt. Iām frustrated that they havenāt reached out to me
You may want to include fumoto to your list of options. They work extremely wellGlad I saw this thread - thanks for answering my question earlier.
I've been looking at these solutions throughout the day, and I'm leaning ever-so-slightly towards the Stahlbus vs the ValvoMax, but it's a very tight race lol
