Anyone with the lo-pro roof rack mind measuring how much it increases the hight?
Measured from the top of the roof to the top of the roof rack.

I got the westcott roof rack due to the lower profile. When I measured after installing it, I think it was no more than a .25 inch taller (at the same stock roof rack location) than the stock roof rails. I'll confirm again later today.

I'd appreciate that! I've got the stock roof rack on right now. Im very close to the limit and I think I have about 1" left of additional height.

sorry for the delayed response... so at the mounting point near the tailgate the westcott rack sits at 3" tall. At the mounting point near the rear doors, it's around 2.5"

Hope that helps

Hows the quality between the 2? Is one really better than the other or are they pretty comparable? Think these companies would be my 2 options as well

Westcott uses 5052 and Sherpa I believe uses or did 7075 aluminum

ok thanks! so for roof rack applications i would think better corrosion resistance is usually the better choice...unless you plan on maxing out the rack
Yeah that’s why I went with Westcott, I’ll probably never push the limits of the weight limit of the rack

5052 is more marine applications for saltwater and also formability. 6061 is for structural use. My Crestone on the 2021 is good. Splitting hairs on corrosion
