Hi ya’ll. I can’t decide on which roof rack to get. I really like how you don’t have to cut the weather strip on the Sherpa but I like the design of Westcott and it’s $500 cheaper. It’s more flush to the roof but wondering if that negatively affects anything on the roof. Curious on the wind noise as well on both of these. Just wanted to know your opinion on which would be a better investment overall. Anyone has past experiences with both companies for their roof racks? I ordered sliders from Westcott as well, just waiting for them to come in. I know there was another post about these two racks but the one from Westcott I’m looking at is not the Lo-pro. But here’s the link for those two.

Installed my Sherpa rack a few weeks ago and it was really easy just a little time consuming taking the stock racks out. Overall really satisfied with the Sherpa racks. There’s a lot of adjustability so you can get the perfect position for no wind noise. I got the half cut wind fairing because I installed a light bar. Although it’s really costly I think it was worth it for me.
