I have not. Thought about it for awhile but I will hold off for now until I'm sure it's what I really want.

With the Runner being a turbo and generating more heat, got a bit worried about the cover causing less heat dissipation within the engine bay and possibly causing more of the plastic and wiring components to prematurely wear out.

Started this process. I need to add tnuts to allow first least the fridge slide to fit what i want it to and maybe ro attach my drawer I have built. Unless I decide to mount fridge to extrusion to add a small pull out shelf below.

Turns on when you open and off when you close the hatch. Motion activated, manual push on/off plus adjustable brightness by pressing lightly on the light.

Finally got done with all the RCI skid plates. Like I posted earlier, the RCI fuel tank skid plate has to be modified if you already have Westcott rock sliders since the rear rock slider bolt is in the way and RCI did not take that into account. Westcott shaved off the section where the rock slider bolt is located so now the fuel tank skid plate fits flush with the frame. I did have problems with the rear shock skid plates as they were really hard to install without having the wheel off. The outside bolts have an inner support that is very difficult to align without removing the wheels.

BTW, I am taking the truck to the scales tomorrow so I can compare my previous weight now that I think I am pretty much done with all the heavy permanent mods.

Nice. I ordered this a few days ago after seeing a YT video. I normally try to stick to OEM stuff and was considering doing the OEM cargo lights, but this looks like a better solution than that so I went with it.

Not looking forward to the extra installation steps intended for the manual pickup of an SR5, but it is what it is

The OEM cargo light improves the interior illumination immensely. And $50 Amazon light does a great job illuminating the area outside below the hatch. I consider both to be worth the cost and small installation effort.

I thought about that when I got the main skid plates. The engine, transmission, transfer case can take a huge hit before you are disabled but the rear shocks and the LCAs are a very weak point that could leave you pretty much stuck. I mean they look delicate in comparison to the other protected areas.

My previous weight was in middle of March when I had just done the first half of the hitch swing out and 35" tires and that came in at 5420lbs. Since then I have added the second half of the swing out hitch carrier (w/ 2 jerry cans), rock sliders, full length roof rack, and the full skid package. This should be interesting. Will post it here and on the weight thread.

Agree. Some trims come with lights in the hatch but not the ORP. This light provides plenty of illumination of the area below the hatch. Simple install and affordable.

Great addition! I’m ordering the RCI skids for the links and shocks. Got lucky dragging the driver side link over some boulders up on Transfer Trail so not taking anymore chances. Outside of the shock alignment issue, anything else I need to look out for? I’m keeping the other TH armor so I’m not going to have to mess with the gas tank plate….yet.

Really happy with how the 275s fill out the wheel wells and change the stance.

Great addition! I’m ordering the RCI skids for the links and shocks. Got lucky dragging the driver side link over some boulders up on Transfer Trail so not taking anymore chances. Outside of the shock alignment issue, anything else I need to look out for? I’m keeping the other TH armor so I’m not going to have to mess with the gas tank plate….yet.

The rear shock skid is a bit tricky to install since it requires bolts from both sides. Very little room without removing the wheel and that internal bolt bracket is a bear to hold in place. If you are comfortable removing the LCA then you should not have any issues with the those skids.

If you do decide to do the transfer case skid from RCI you may have problems with the stock fuel tank skid since there is a support bracket that sits right in front of the fuel tank and the skid. I had already removed it when I installed the transfer case skid and then realized that it would be nearly impossible to re-install the stock fuel plate skid. Pretty sure that RCI did not take the extra race of the stock fuel tank skid. If you are not doing an RCI transfer case skid then I don't think it should be an issue but keep it in mind.

Also keep in mind that if you are using Westcott rock sliders it may be tricky to install the RCI fuel tank skid.
