Rear ended on 4th of July! Help with possible receiver being bent?

Hello everyone, 4th of July was not very kind to me. My new ORP with less than 1k was rear ended by someone texting and driving at a stop light. Cosmetically my damage is very minimal with only a small scratch on the rear door thanks to having my beefy 1up bike rack on. My bike rack is totaled but rather that then the whole car being smashed so I will use that as the silver lining...

Despite minimal cosmetic damage I am worried that the receiver could potentially have been bent since it took all the force of the impact. Wondering if anyone else with stock ride hide and wheels/tires can post a comparison photo with a level for me. I understand it likely wouldn't be perfectly level do to the way the car sits but figured it's worth. I'll be scheduling an evaluation by Toyota on Monday to be sure.

i am guessing the hitch receiver is slightly bent upwards, but it could be that the shaft of the bike rake is more bent than the receiver possibly looking at your bike rack pic.

if you can find a 4R on a lot and do a comparison that would be your best bet.

also look at the attach points of the hitch assembly (usually bolt mounted to the rear frame) and see if any paint has flaked or rippled, also especially around the hitch receiver squared assembly (back behind the opening you dont usually look at) further back that you usually cant see.

you will need to get on your back and use a flashlight to get a decent look at all the frame of the hitch assembly.

A level is not going to accurately tell you it’s bent.

That hitch is directly on frame. Have the dealership check the frame for any damage.
