I was told to be careful putting way too wide tires on it. It night hit the upper control arm. Was yours OK? Does it his the upper control arms?

This I don't know. The shop that installed ordered them and the size is not on the invoice.

I've since lifted the front 0.75 inch, many trails with no rubbing. I did do some light trails prior to lifting it but not enough articulation to really test it out.
