Here’s front and rear mount. Only couple wires high on windshield. Rear made bracket and attached into rear bracket under head liner. Use aluminum bar stock and bent. Had to put toward passenger side so rear wiper would clean camera area. Also couple of pics from dash cam.
I have been doing a lot of highway driving. Cruising at 65 I will put in manual mode and it’s always in 7th gear, always. I will manually put in 8th gear, and no change in tach. Has anyone else tried this with the same results? Any insights?

Installed Viofo A229 Pro 2 channel dash cam. Researched heck out of it. 4K HDR. Very simple to install and phone/iPad app very easy to use. I just need to make a rear mount for camera since can’t attach to rear sliding glass window.
I’m not interested in parking yet. Now I have to figure out rear camera mounting. I’ve seen one technique to create a mounting bracket since you can’t mount to the rear glass. How did you mount rear cam?
