I have the 2025 ORP non hybrid and I love my suspension. Same stock tires run at 33-34psi. iMO, my ride is incredibly smooth. I was surprised at how smooth it is. Interesting that you’re having issues.
I just set a new mpg record. I saw 25.3mpg per vehicle reading.
Non-hybrid, Eco Mode, 65-70mph, tire pressure 37psi, air dam on and follow my buddy in his motor home. Probably some advantage from drafting. I was going west toward Cali on I8. Fairly flat. Final at destination was 24.5…
I’ve already put on Redline hood struts and about to purchase Cali Raised ditch lights.
Question: Are OEM bolts on hood hinge long enough to support both moods securely?
Also based on design, I assume you mount ditch lights first then hood mounts?
I’ve installed Red Line also. Love em. Thanks for input on ditch light bracket.
I was concerned about length of OEM bolts. Which brand of ditch lights did you go with?
Did some wheeling to experience water release from Horseshoe Dam AZ. It’s an easy
10 mile gravel, ruts, washboard road to the dam. Spectacular site. Did check out some
dispersed camping areas. Special feature was walking under dam.
This tread got me to review my extended warranty. I’ve purchased around 6 new vehicles over my life and never bought extended warranty. We were so excited to buy a 4Runner off the transport, I wasn’t as thorough as usual. The electrical warranty I mentioned above was the platinum. Ouch. So...
I installed Redline hood struts yesterday. A 20 minute job and love them. So you spend $56K on a vehicle and they don’t come with hood struts. Strange
I passed on the factory extended warranty but bought the warranty on all electronics. Not worried about Toyota mechanical reliability. With all the electronics on these vehicles, that’s the road I took. I could have be lied to but, dealer pointed out extended warranty I was offered didn’t...
Silly question since you’re in Texas but, how are the AT4 in mud and snow?
I’m thinking of the same tires. So would the 285/70/18 fit on stock ORP? Just
a little liner tuck.
I’m in AZ. Most travel from Phx to White Mountains. About 190 miles and from. 1,100 ft to 7,400 ft of elevation. I’m averaging about 23 mpg and range states in the 390mile range. I average about 3-5 miles over speed limit. I keep my air dam on till I get to mountains to do some wheeling.
I ran mine through the headliner. I made sure didn’t interfere with airbags. When you get to windows, just pull off weather strip. It goes off and on pretty easy. To mount, I pulled out one of the tabs holding headliner. Under there, there is actually structure for mounting. I shaped some...
I was going to go up to White Pockets last weekend but canceled. Weather turned cold and windy. I’ll probably stay south or central till it warms up, up north. Spend summers in White Mountains. Just bought tent and can’t wait to try.
